LIGHTING CEREMONY |
Indira College of Nursing
(ICON) and Indira School of Nursing (ISON) celebrated
the Lamp Lighting ceremony of III batch of Nursing
students on 22nd December 2008. Dr.(Mrs.) A.V. Raman
Ph.D., Dean, Omayal Achi College of Nursing was the
chief guest for the occasion. Mrs. Kalaiselvi Nursing
Superintendent and Dr. Usman Ali , Senior Civil
Surgeon were the guest of honor. Mrs. Rosaline Rachel
Principal welcomed the guest and highlighted the
importance of the occasion.
The chief guest Dr. (Mrs.)
A.V. Raman gave special message to the students and
also elaborated the scope for nursing profession in
the field of clinical practice, community medicine ,
education, administration, research, etc. The Florence
Nightingale lamp was lit by the chief guest and flame
was presented by Mrs.Rosaline Rachel Principal Indira
College of Nursing and Ms Thaiyalnayaki Principal
Indira School of Nursing the sbudding nightingale lit
the lamp from service Dr.Raman and Mrs.Kalaiselvi.
Mrs.Kalaiselvi Nursing Superintendent administered the
pledge to the freshers of ICON / ISON. The students
rededicated themselves to the nursing profession by
singing a song.
