Rajendran, a philanthropist and social activist who has been in the field of promoting real-estate projects in the city of Chennai.  Realizing the need for immediate action, decided to establish a world class educational conglomerate at Thiruvallur district.

Indhira College of Education takes pride in launching the bright careers of teacher educators graduated in 2007. Convocation of 1st batch of the 2006 – 2007 B.Ed students was held at the college campus on 11th Sep 2008.
